【SDGs】漁網をオシャレで機能的な服にアップサイクル（2023/3/25）
これまでは埋めて廃棄してきた漁網を、その素材を生かしてオシャレな洋服に生まれ変わらせている小林謙一さん。海洋プラスチック問題の要因のひとつと言われる漁網は、多くの漁業関係者がその廃棄に苦慮していました。そこでアウターやつなぎなどにアップサイクルし、再び漁業関係者に還元することで、廃棄漁網に新たな価値を生み出しました。将来的に世界中の漁網の循環型アップサイクルが進むことを願う小林さんが思い描く未来とは？
Mr. Kenichi Kobayashi upcycles fishing nets that have been buried and thrown away until now into fashionable clothes. Used fishing nets are cited as one of the contributing causes of ocean plastic. Many people involved in the fishing industry had a hard time disposing of fishing nets. By upcycling them into outerwear and coveralls and returning those products to the fishery industry, we have created new value in those discarded fishing nets. Mr. Kobayashi hopes that in the future fishing nets worldwide will be upcycled. What kind of future dies he envision?
