【SDGs】アスリートが自治体と一緒にスポーツ格差を解消（2023/11/4）

全国各地の中学校で陸上部の指導を行っている、東京五輪陸上男子400mハードル日本代表の安部孝駿さん。
近年、教員による休日の部活動の在り方、また指導スキルや施設の充実度によるスポーツ格差などが社会課題になっています。
そんな中、自身が得てきた知識や経験を、子どもたちに伝えることでスポーツ文化の発展に寄与したい、と活動を開始。
この活動が、アスリートのセカンドキャリアにもつながればと語る安部さんの思い描く未来とは？

Mr. Takatoshi Abe, who represented Japan in the men’s 400m hurdles at the Tokyo Olympics, coaches track and field teams at junior high schools across the country. In recent years, the way extracurricular activities are held on teacher’s days off, as well as the disparity in sports based on teaching skills and facility availability, have become social issues. Mr. Abe started his activities in hopes of contributing to the development of sports culture by passing on the knowledge and experience he has acquired to children. Mr. Abe says that he hopes this activity will lead to a second career for athletes. What kind of future does he envision?
