魚の養殖と水耕栽培を同時に行う「アクアポニックス」という技術を活用して、持続可能な食料生産システム実現に向けた事業を行っている山本祐二さん。
寒冷地の外気と雪を活用して冷却を行う最先端のデータセンター事業を立ち上げた際に、IT機器使用時に生じるエネルギーを食料生産につなげられたら、と研究開発を始めました。

Mr. Yuji Yamamoto is working on a business aimed at realizing a sustainable food production system by utilizing aquaponics, which involves aquaculture and hydroponic cultivation of fish at the same time. When he launched a state-of-the-art data center business that utilizes outside air and snow in cold regions for cooling, he began looking into the idea of connecting the energy generated when using IT equipment to food production. He aims to realize a new food production model that is not bound by the confines of the concept of primary industry. What kind of future does Mr. Yamamoto envision?
