サトウキビの搾りかすからできたストローを販売し、さらに飲食店などから使用済みストローを回収・堆肥化を前提とした循環型ビジネスモデルを構築している平間亮太さん。
元々、環境問題に興味があった平間さんは、台湾の知人から紹介されたサトウキビストローに可能性を感じ起業。
単に売ることや消費するだけでなく、使用後に回収するという過程を設けることで、社会と自然に変化をもたらせたいと語る平間さんの思い描く未来とは？

Mr. Ryota Hirama sells straws made from sugarcane dregs and is building a circular business model based on the premise of collecting and composting the used straws from restaurants. Mr. Hirama who had always been interested in the environment, heard about sugarcane straws from an acquaintance from Taiwan and sensed a possibility for a business. Mr. Hirama wants to bring about changes in society and nature by not just selling or consuming products, but by creating a process of collecting them after use. What kind of future does he envision?
