【SDGs】地元の害獣問題を社員食堂で解決（2023/7/29）

地域の害獣問題を社員食堂のメニューで解決しようとしている管理栄養士の西川由香里さん。
害獣駆除される野生動物が有効活用されず廃棄されていることを知り、食用として消費できれば社会問題解決につながり、自身の仕事にも生かせると思ったのがきっかけ。
美味しく味わえるように工夫を凝らしたジビエ料理は、社員の評判も上々。
美味しく食べることが、問題解決の糸口となることを多くの人へ伝えたいと願う西川さんの思い描く未来とは？

Ms. Yukari Nishikawa is the managing nutritionist at a company cafeteria who is trying to solve the local nuisance wildlife problems. When she found out that animals that had been killed were just being thrown away, she thought that if she could consume it as food, it would help solve social problems, and also be used in her own work. Employees say wonderful things about the wild game dishes that she has worked hard to create in a way that tastes delicious. She wants more people to know that enjoying these animals as food is a step towards solving the problem. What kind of future does Ms. Nishikawa envision?
