農業を通じて、働きたい障がい者と雇用したい企業をつなぐ取り組みをしている大塚春枝さん。
農業は、働き手である障がい者にとって目に見える成果が実感しやすく、働きがいや責任感が芽生えるといわれています。
2010年に千葉県の農園でわずか3名から始めた取り組みが、今では約3000名の障がい者が、全国37カ所の農園で働いています。
経済的な自立だけでなく、仲間と働く喜びも手に入れてほしいと語る大塚さんが思い描く未来とは？
Ms.Harue Otsuka is working to connect people with special needs who want to work with companies who want to hire them through agriculture. People with special needs, working in agriculture can easily see tangible results, and that they can feel a sense of satisfaction and responsibility. The initiative started in 2010 with just three people at a farm in Chiba Prefecture, but now roughly 3,000 people with special needs are working at 37 farms nationwide. She says that it’s not only for financial independence, but also for the joy of working with others. What kind of future does Ms.Otsuka envision?
