【SDGs】みんなの遊び場（海）を守るためにゴミ拾い (2022/9/24）
海を愛する仲間たちと一緒に大磯海岸のゴミ拾いに取り組む田原靖夫さん。
1998年、台風の影響で流れ着いた大量のゴミを、ビーチに穴を掘って投棄している惨状を見て衝撃を受け、同年11月から毎月第１日曜日を「大磯ビーチクリーンの日」と定めて、ゴミ拾い活動を開始。
また昨今、サーフィン時に海水温度の上昇を実感。
この活動を目にした人や参加した人が、環境問題を考えるきっかけになれば、と語る田原さんが思い描く未来とは？
Mr. Yasuo Tahara devotes himself to picking up garbage with his oceanｰloving friends along the coast at Oiso. He started this beautification activity by making the first Sunday of every month ‘Clean Oiso Beach Day’ beginning in November of 1998, after seeing a hole dug at the beach to bury a vast amount of garbage that washed up on shore after a typhoon. Also, recently, when surfing, he feels the rise in the temperature of the ocean. Mr. Tahara hopes that those who see or participate in this activity will have an opportunity to think about environmental issues. What kind of future does he envision?
