【SDGs】迷路で収穫！農業の新しいカタチ (2022/8/27）
広大な土地に広がるトウモロコシ畑。
実はコレ・・・トウモロコシで作った巨大迷路です。
この迷路を企画制作したのは東京・練馬で農業を営む加藤義貴さん。
遊休農地の活用法を考えていた際、トウモロコシの直売だけでなく、畑に実際に足を踏み入れてどのように生育しているのかを見て、さらには収穫体験と迷路を楽しんでもらいたい、と企画。
農業に触れ合う機会を増やし、その楽しさと豊かさを伝えている加藤さんが思い描く未来とは？
Cornfields that spread across the land. This is actually a giant maze made of corn. The man who designed and made this maze, Mr. Yoshitaka Kato, does business in Tokyo and Gunma. When he thought about how to use idle farmland, he wanted to do more than just have a farmstand to sell corn. He wanted people to actually get into the field and see how corn is grown, so he planned the maze to make the harvest experience even more enjoyable. Giving us more opportunities to enjoy farming, and teaching us its joy and abundance; what kind of future does Mr. Kato see?
