WELCOME EVERYONE – WOWOHOOHOHOOOO ok I wanted to do this video SO badly when I was *COMPLETELY DONE* with my legs and be like BAM!!!! And surprise all yall who didn’t even know I was doing this (*cough* you should follow me on IG and Twitter… *cough*) – but I feel like we got so many already that we were due! Plus on IG I keep getting a bunch of questions about the tattoos/process that I really want to answer in a Q&A video… so that’ll be next! Check out my IG story tomorrow if you have a question you’d like to submit!!

Where to BEGIN… oh man. Like I said in the video, I kept this SO concise and still managed to hit an hour long vid… but I have to say I am so so so so happy with all of the tattoos I’ve gotten so far, and the artists I’ve gotten to meet/work with!

WHY SO MANY TATTOOS SO FAST?
I have been planning this for a LONG TIME and have put an absurd amount of hours into preparing for this! Once I started with my first big leg piece, I knew I wanted to book them all in quick succession, because my goal is to have my legs completely covered. I wanted to do this NOW, and in the next 1.5-2 years, because after that, Ben and I are considering going the kids route, so I’d like to have my leg sleeves done before then!

DID IT HURT?
Kinda???? My advice is definitely to not let the fear of the pain stop you from getting a tattoo! I’ll go over this more in my FAQ – but bring some candy and a soda with you, and focus on your breathing if it gets tough! However, I’ve managed to sit for every single one of these (multiple 7 hour days!) just fine!

DO YOU USE NUMBING CREAM
Nope! It hasn’t hurt enough for me to feel like I need to use it, and I’ve heard mixed things about it.

HOW DO YOU PICK WHICH TATTOOS TO GET?
I’ll go over this in my future FAQ vid! I have a Google Doc that keeps everything organized 🙂

HOW DO YOU FIND YOUR ARTISTS?
tl;dr, Instagram! But I’ll give you tips on how to pick which ones to actually go for during my Q&A vid!

ARE YOU GOING TO TATTOO YOUR ARMS/BACK/ETC…OR JUST YOUR LEGS?
Just my legs for now! Once that’s done I’ll take a break from tattoos, but I always have the arms/back etc. for the rest of my life to decide.

ARE YOU GOING TO DO ANY COLOR TATTOOS?
No probably not! Definitely not on my legs. If I got color I’d do it on my ribs probably. So none for now! I’m worried about my skin reacting to different ink colors, and I really honestly prefer the look of blackwork style tattoos. I don’t do white ink either because I have heard mixed things about how it heals. So just black ink for me, please!
